Study Group:
Faith Formation for adults held during the day. Sessions are held
on Wednesdays from 10-11:30 am in the Religious Education Center.
Dates and topics are listed in the Sunday Bulletin. Topics include
Catholic Doctrine, Spirituality and Bible Study. Coordinator is Shendy (541) 882-8065.
- Evening Sessions for Adults:
Faith Formation sessions for adults in the evening are held monthly. Information is publicized in the Sunday Bulletin. Past events include DVD presentations, Lectio Divina and speakers. Upcoming sessions include “Growing through Divorce” and “Death, Grief and Christian Hope”.
- Covenant
Church Events:
Sacred Heart Church was additionally established in a formal
Christian covenant by the Bishop of the Diocese of Baker to
encourage ecumenical dialogue with Klamath Lutheran and St. Paul's
Episcopal in 1996. Covenant Church events include Advent and Lent
Soup Suppers and Reflection Prayer Services.
- RCIA- Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults:
This is the process by which adults become members of the Roman Catholic Church.
Inquiry Sessions for seekers are held most Thursday evenings at 7 pm year-round in the Religious Education Center. Dismissal of the Catechumens is held year-round at rotating Masses. Adults can begin at any time. Rites are held throughout the year. Please contact the parish office at (541) 884-4566 or

- Adult
Sacramental Preparation:
Baptism Preparation for Parents and Godparents preparing to
baptize an infant or young child is held once each month by
appointment. Please call the parish office for the next session.
Sessions are generally held the second Tuesday of the month in the
evening.
- Adults who wish
to receive the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation must
contact the Director of Religious Education at the parish office
for a schedule of classes.
- The Sacrament
of Reconciliation is offered each week on Saturdays from 3-4 pm
in the Church or by appointment.
- Adults who wish
to receive the Sacrament of Marriage must contact the parish
office at (541) 884-4566, or
a minimum of six months in advance for Marriage
Preparation Classes. No wedding dates are made by phone. Minimum
age is 18 and marriage preparation is required.
- In the event of
serious injury or illness please call the parish office for the
Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.
- Adult men who
are discerning a vocation to the Priesthood (the Sacrament of
Holy Orders) should contact one of the parish priests or the
Diocesan Promoter of Vocations, Fr. James Radloff at (541)
388-4004.
