The goals of Youth Ministry are:
- To empower
young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in
our world
today
- To draw young
people to responsible participation in the life,
mission and work
of the Catholic Community

total personal and spiritual growth of each young person
Confirmation Program 2010-2011
All Classes will be held on Sundays from 3-4:30PM unless indicated

We offer the following sessions for Youth:

Jesus N'
Java:
These sessions meet on Mondays from 7-8 pm October-May.
We focus on exploring Sacred Scriptures and its real-life
applications for youth, in a 'coffeehouse' atmosphere. We meet
in the YM Room of the RE Center.
- Eucharistic Adoration for Teens Mondays:
During Jesus N' Java monthly.
This monthly prayer service includes prayer, reflection,
music, Benediction and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Peer
Leadership: Offered yearly for new team members.
These 6-week training sessions are offered to develop leadership among the youth. Sessions include small group facilitation, team-building, sharing your faith, praise and worship, prayer, speaking from the heart, and leadership in liturgical ministry. |

Sacrament of
Confirmation:
Sacramental Preparation for junior high (grades 6-7-8) and high school (grades 9-12) is a full school year preparation program, which includes classroom sessions, service projects and a retreat. Confirmation for students is held every other year. Students are registered in Religious Education/Youth Ministry. Please contact the Director of Religious Education for registration information. |

Conferences and Retreats:
Local, Diocesan and National Conferences -planned conferences for 2010 and 2011 include Diocesan Summer Camps and the Steubenville Northwest Youth Conference, as well as our Parish Confirmation Retreat at Powell Butte-Camp Connelly. |
