The goals of Youth Ministry are:
- To empower
young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in
our world
today
- To draw young
people to responsible participation in the life,
mission and work
of the Catholic Community
- To foster the
total personal and spiritual growth of each young person
We offer the following sessions for Youth:

Jesus N'
Java:
These sessions meet on Mondays from 7-8 pm October-May.
We focus on exploring Sacred Scriptures and its real-life
applications for youth, in a 'coffeehouse' atmosphere. We meet
in the YM Room of the RE Center.
- Eucharistic Adoration for Teens Mondays:
During Jesus N' Java monthly.
This monthly prayer service includes prayer, reflection,
music, Benediction and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Peer
Leadership: Offered twice yearly for new team members.
These 6-week training sessions are offered to develop
leadership among the youth. Sessions include small group
facilitation, team-building, sharing your faith, praise and
worship, prayer, speaking from the heart, and leadership in
liturgical ministry. Our next session will be held summer
2008! |

Sacrament of
Confirmation:
Sacramental Preparation for youth grades 7-12 is a full school year preparation program, which includes classroom sessions, service projects and a half-day retreat. Confirmation for students is held every other year. Please contact the Director of Religious Education for registration information. |
